You are at: Sanz Bermell > Designs > Designs in other countries
A design can be protected by national channels in many countries of the world whether or not these belong to international agreements.

As a general rule priority can be claimed for a prior identical design application presented within six months prior to the date of national application.

The duration, object of protection and requisites are different from one country to another.

The need for consular legalisation of documents is often one of the additional requisites.

If you wish we can give you full information on the protection of Designs in any country that you wish.

As part of our work, we handle all the documents required in the appropriate language, the graphic documents, translations and legalisations required for obtaining the rights of registration of the design.
